WAI LEE
Wai Lee is the global head of research for the Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) Multi-Asset Solutions team. Based in New York, Wai joined WFAM from Neuberger Berman, where he was the head of quantitative investments and a senior portfolio manager for a number of strategies. Previously, he was the head of the quantitative engineering group at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM). Wai joined CSAM from J.P. Morgan Investment Management, where he began his investment industry career. Before joining the industry, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Business. He presently serves on the advisory board of The Journal of Portfolio Management. Wai earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hong Kong and earned a master's degree in business administration and a doctoral degree in finance from Drexel University.
CHARLES WU
Charles joined State Super in 2015. In his role as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and General Manager, Defined Contribution Investments, Charles is responsible for formulating investment strategy to assist members to achieve return objectives on a risk-adjusted basis. He was previously an Investment Manager at Media Super and an analyst at Mercer. Charles holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder. He also serves as a Vice President and the Director of University Outreach at CFA Society Sydney.
